| MarkZ and I camped at Bonnie Lake in the Hoover Wilderness Area and hiked cross country to Grizzly Peak. The wild flowers were in full bloom giving off intoxicating fragrances. The ash mud flows on the northern side of the mountain are particularly interesting to see... It took 30-40 minutes to reach the summit from the base. Under clear skies, we had excellent views into northern Yosemite. This is an easy, yet fun peak to climb. | |
