BignickNorth Ridge Route  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Aug 20, 2007

Climbed from White Pine to the saddle on the ridge South of Red Stack then along the ridge to the summit. Lots of scrambling to make this a fun and memorable climb.

KirtDavisWow.  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Aug 26, 2009

Got off the tram at Hidden Peak, went to AF Twin Peaks, went across and grabbed this one. Wow! What a climb. Went up the main chute, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Ended up going down via White Pine Lake and hitch-hiking back up to the lodge.

Brad SniderRoute-finding Fun  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Oct 9, 2008

During the Bullion Divide run, I wasted a couple hours trying to find the right route up this mountain. Ended up settling for the couloir to gain the ridge, which worked quite well. Overall, fun and interesting, complex mountain.

aprovanceRed Baldy via Silver Glance Lake  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jul 25, 2009

Couldn't have been a better day to hike! The overcast skies made this hike so much more pleasant. Our goal was just to hike up to Silver Glance Lake, from Silver Lake Flat Reservoir trailhead, but once there, we felt great, so we decided to go straight up the red scree and talus to the summit. It wasn't as hard as I had expected although it was easily a 45-50 degree slope right up the front face from Silver Glance. Nothing scary. Class three once we got to the red talus. We just did some route finding and basic scrambling from there to the top. The scrambling was very fun. Beautiful views of White Pine Lake, Silver Glance, Silver Lake, and Silver Lake Flat, and even Tibble Fork Reservoir at the summit. We wanted to head up to White Baldy, but storm clouds chased us off the summit to lower ground.

Date Climbed: Nov 29, 2008

With Vanman. Went up White Pine Canyon. We made it to the lower peak just west of the summit. We were pretty much worn out at that point, and it was getting late. I couldn't join the return group the following week, unfortunately.

ericwillhiteNot too impressive  Sucess!

Glad I did some other higher summits this day. Red needed to be done but others on the ridge are higher/better. Report at http://www.willhiteweb.com/index_144.htm

Went up Red Pine to White Baldy and traversed to the peak from there. That ridge is really fun. Lots of exposure. We spent only a few minutes on top because of gathering clouds. We were grateful for the quick 1200' glissade to take us out of harms way relatively quickly, We heard thunder clapping a good half hour later. Beautiful day, and a great route.

Date Climbed: Jun 6, 2009

June 6, 2009 summited Red Baldy again, but this time it was part of the Red/White/Red/White.

November 29, 2008 I got within 300 vertical feet of the summit, but high winds, grauple, and time constraints caused us to turn around.

So the next Saturday, December 6, 2008 I went back with a group from Utah Outsiders, and summited on a gorgeous clear day!

Date Climbed: Oct 15, 2008

Postholed my way to the top in ankle to knee deep snow on an otherwise perfect day. It looks like one other lonely soul had summited since the snow began to accumulate this fall.

WasatchvoyageAscended summit via east ridge.  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Oct 10, 2004

This was the last part of the Bullion Divide climb with Dad in 2004. Dad hiked down into White Pine and waited while I scaled the east ridge of Red Baldy to the summit. The class 4 route up this ridge is fun but not for the unwary. Descended to the White Pine trailhead.

Best scrambling of the Bullion Divide route (going from east to west, at least), in my opinion, and a good climax to the route.
