| Fun climb with friends Samantha and Mike. The granitic summit block was a lot of fun and the views seemed endless. I followed the South Ridge. My advice is stay well below the east side of the ridge line and just below the talus to speed things up. This will mean walking on a fair amount of sand--most of it isn't too bad--but it is better than wading through brush and rocks. Recommended! | |

| Continued on to Purgatory Peak, before growing weary of the brush and fresh snow and bailing off to the west. Cool summit block on this peak. | |

| Cool name, nice granite. I saw some photocopied pages at Rocksport climbing gym promoting some bouldering options below the peak. Like King Lear, I was happy to finally summit this peak because it can be seen from so many points in the area. What a good looking summit! | ||

| Traversed from the the southern toe of the Selenites to Mt. Limbo, and a bit further before bailing off to the west to get back to the car before dark. | |

| Climbed this with bearbnz as part of a traverse of the southern end of the Selenite range. The summit blocks of both this peak and Purgatory were really cool --- very unusual for desert peaks! | |
