| Similar positive hold like that of Owens River Gorge, Leatherface offered a variety of things: horizontal cracks, face, friction and high quality rock. Nice bolt and gear route. | |

| At first, I was a bit intimidated to try MTY as a lead climb, especially with an overhanging base to anchors ratio of 40 feet! But once I scoped the route, psyched myself up and started up on the huge jugs, the fear had fizzled. 'Mowing The Yawn' is one of THE BEST Sierra sport climbs I have ever been on! Amazing vista, clean rock and no crowds! | |
