Elbow Fork route. Did this hike in the evening with my brother in law. Great trail that is shaded the majority of the time. Nice elevation change, with amazing views at the top.
I had climbed it many times over the years, finally got around to skiing it last February had some great lines on 5 different chutes, I'll attach some ski photo's.
Nice quick morning hike to Mount Aire on a nice shady trail. This was my 84th time up here since I started keeping track. I've also done Church Fork Peak 6 times and Millvue 5 times.
Bushwhacked up Churk Fork Peak from the Mill Creek Canyon and traversed over the mountain on a beautiful June day. In February I snowshoed up Mt. Aire and Millvue Peak on consecutive weeks as part of my recovery from a clavicle fracture.

I climbed Mount Aire on February 22, 1949, Washington's Birthday. As teenagers, we had just read the books by Richard Halliburton whose climb of the Matterhorn and Popocatepetl inspired us to climb the hill just east of Salt Lake City. We dubbed the hill "Mount Halliburton," which we still call it to this day. Only decades later did we learn its real name.
We could not have asked for a better day. The gate was closed and from the gate to the TH we encountered several folks (and dogs)but after the TH we only saw a few others all day. The weather was great and the view from the summit was fantastic.
Great hike! It is an easy hike, but since I am so out of shape it kicked my trash. Only way to get into better shape though is to just keep going!! I hiked it with cubicleslave and soccerman.
All three and Grandeur, Snowdrift, and Murdock Date Climbed: Aug 17, 2006
I don't know what I was thinking doing this in the summer, very pretty, but man between aire and Millvue was some gnarly bushwacking, actually throughout the hike there was alot. No water, hella hot. Still had fun but if you want to do the whole ridge I would recomend winter.
