| I started in the town of Browntown, ascended using the Jenkins Gap Trail. Took a brief stop on the Skyline Drive and descended the other side using the Mt. Marshall Trail. About 3/4 the way down, I joined the Jordan River Trail and ended near the town of Flint Hill where I walked some distance to a relatives house.
All trails were well maintained. The Mt. Marshall Trail had a few tress laying across it but they appeared to be "fresh" and have since then probably been removed. I was glad that I got to see a black bear climbing out of a tree while on the Mt. Marshall Trail.
Weather was Sunny and about 80 degrees, perfect. From Browntown to Flint Hill, the dog and I did about 11 miles. |
