| While driving Skyline Drive with my daughter, she was not so enthusiastic about this summit. So I hopped out of the car for a quick jaunt to its summit. Well my solo hike worked because she decided to accompany me up Hawksbill a little ways up the road. | |

| Visited the highest point in Warren County, VA as part of a business trip. The hike was very short with the best views coming from the road at the beginning; the actual summit has a slight view through the trees, but the transmitters kill the wilderness feel. Don't get me wrong though, its a great and quick hike! | |

| We hiked down the AT from Little Devils Stairs overlook, and then went up a steep portion, which became flatter and led us to a house with high voltage signs. No view, but a nice, strenuous hike to cap our day. | |
