| Although I have been in the Narrows a number of times, this may have been the most impressive trip. No wind, still pools, awesome reflections made this trek a memorable one. My son, his fiancee, and I started near Osage Lake, hiked SW to Panther Creek, then followed Panther Creek southward through Panther Canyon east of Rattlesnake Island to the point where Panther Creek and Cache Creek converge. Then we hiked northward up Cache Creek into and through the Narrows, ending up at Boulder Camp. The hike was a casual, photographic hike of just less then 4 hours. |
