Climbed Ob Hill a bunch during my 2000-01 season as a fuelie. Now that I'm done with college I'm getting the bug to go back!

Climbed Observation Hill about 25 times during the year (Oct '91 - Oct '92) I was at McMurdo. Also climbed Castle Rock and Mt. Aurora. Yeah, it's cold, but it's a dry cold.

One of the best excursions allowed to us while working at Mac town. I lost count of the times I climbed it, normally several a week. Great views of the surrounding area from the top.

Observation Hill is the best, easy way to exercise when staying at McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Reaching the summit takes less than 20 minutes if you hurry. The view is unlike anywhere else in the world. I climbed the peak 7 times during my stay, and wish i'd done it 70.
