| I've been 3 times yet on Hasenöhrl:
1. September 22nd 1987
from Ultental valley starting at Kuppelwieser Alm, along Blaue Schneid, NE ridge:
my companion was not experienced with mountains and she was a bit frightened when we reached the summit. Therefore we decided to descend on another route which we did to the south via Getristeter Stein and Steinberg. This was very long and strenious, about 2000 m descent
2. June 18th 1995
This was my latest ski tour ever until now. Martin and I drove by car again to Kuppelwieser Alm (1906 m) and followed the closed road further on, carrying ski to the Arzkar reservoir lake. We climbed a couloir until finally snow started. Then we climbed steep slopes left of the Kuppelwieser Ferner to gain the east ridge and on this ridge the summit where we could feel the sun but still remained in the fog that had come up early. Because of bad sight we took downhill on the same route
3. July 28th 2002
It was a fine Sunday though cumulus clouds occured soon. Once more starting at Kuppelwieser Alm, to Tarscher Pass and Blaue Schneid. We only met two other tourists - but app. 100 locals which did a Sunday trip on this high and easy mountain. Later at the Kuppelwieser Alm pasture there was a big party with local musicians, again not arranged just for tourists.
