| I, like most, made this HP in conjuction with Ohio's HP ealier in the day. I took some pictures, signed the register, and "hiked" the loop trail. | ||

| Not much to write home about at the top of the Hoosier state but I enjoyed getting to do the HP for the state that I lived in for 4 years while at college. An Eagle scout did a lot of work to clean up this HP. The fence & stile are now gone and there is even a little loop trail that goes through the woods. | ||

| In 1985, no one would have thought to call this a hill!!! No signs, no marker, no trail, no guidebook. But my daughter and I had started our highpoint quest, and so we drove to farm, and walked out to the unmarked spot after taking our pictures next to the road-side survey marker across the road to the SSE. This was SHP #5 of my 49 state high points. | ||

| Directions on this website are incorrect. HP is 0.93 miles N of Bethel Rd and about 0.3 mile S of County Line Rd. No signs exist except one on County Line Rd. Bat nest falling down. Site itself is fine. | ||

| Arrived at 7:15 pm, we were staying overnight in nearby Richmond. The register showed there were at least 5 parties there that same day. | ||

| Chinigo | HP #2, I Think ![]() Date Climbed: May 31, 2002 | |
| I (with my wife (Tracy) and son (Alex), then almost 2 yrs old) did this as part of our first family HP trip. On 11 Aug 2008, I revisited with my son (now 8) and my daughter (Gabriella), 4 - it's a nice place, though there were some big flies around. No view, of course, since it's in woods. I noticed immediately that the fence and stile are gone. | ||

| The mosquitoes were swarming and annoying. It was unfortunate somebody had drawn a little graffiti on the highpoint sign. However, I really appreciate the effort in making this a nice HP for the public. I celebrated with my first trip to a "White Castle" restaurant (yummy!!!) on the way to Illinois... This was the fifth of seven HPs attained on my most ambitious weekend HP road trip to date. | ||

| The same can be said of both the highpoint and the road that leads there, which was actually the "highpoint" of this highpoint. However, choose your spot carefully if you wish to jump your car over one of the whoops. The road bears the scars dug by the cars whose drivers didn't. HP7 | ||

| Attended the 2nd Brewers/Reds game in 2 days. Brewers won 5-3. Drove to Hoosier Highpoint in the evening and then stayed in Westfield, Indiana before driving back to Wisconsin the next day. One of the more boring highpoints I have done. Farmers were not even in the fields yet. 1381 miles roundtrip. HP #32. | ||

| I live in Indianapolis, so I made the 7-hour round trip to Campbell Hill in Ohio (my first highpoint!), and then hit Hoosier Hill for my 2nd on the way back. I have also learned that I will not take any more 90-lb energetic Weimaraners on long car trips again....ever! Bonding experience turned into a nightmare of drool and hair!!!! | ||
