| A nice hike to the end. Its view was very nice, and it also had a bunch rock you could craw around inside. | |

| Beautiful day to climb. Ran into a bunch of other hikers. Temps were in the low 20's. The visibility was great and so was the hike. | |

| What a great surprise to find along the AT. I explored the crack system with my headlamp and burned a roll of film on the ospreys in that sad time before digital. | |

| It was a nice early spring day. Got lost on the way to the trail head (took the wrong turn left instead of right) and there was almost no spot to park at the parking area. Did not run to that many people though. Would like to check out the observatory at the Pulpit rock during some nice star filled summer night. | |

| Wasn't expecting as much snow as there ended up being. Scrambled a bit up to the ridge below Pulpit Rock because I was getting bored. Traversed a section of the cliffs below the Pinnacle for the same reason. Will head back some day to check out the cave. | |

| Gorgeous Fall Day. The leaves were just starting to change and the views were breathtaking. Found a cool cave on the summit that I'll have to go back and check out sometime. This is now going to be an annual fall event. Summitted with my good friend Brad. Beautiful place! | |

| What an amazing view on a beautiful day. The farmland of PA looks spectacular from this viewpoint. An old "Red Baron" airplane greeted us as we summited. This was the first time I had been on The Pinnacle despite having lived in PA for 5 years. I am still wondering what is in the "secret entrance" below the rocks. | |

| So, do air horns scare bears away? Round trip in 3 hours 25 minutes. Great night hike, only lost the trail once, we lost about 15 minutes. I am not sure if air horns do or not, we brought one, but luckily we did not have to test it out! We added about 14" to the large carin, one rock each- so we only have a few more centuries before it will hit Rocky Mountain heights! | |

| I agree, this is definately the most dramatic summit in PA. Amazing views in all directions with the leaves turning on the trees. Undescribable view! Very long hike from the sanctuary though! Awesome fall day! | |

| Spectacular! Hot and muggy, but fortunately less bugs this time. Relaxed on the summit for some time, explored a cave, and observed a large rat snake. Boots are severely malfunctioning after only three days in PA. The remaining week doesn't bode well! | |
