| This was a very nice hike with a group out of Syracuse.I brought my 9 year old son for his first mountain ascent.On the summit ,it was full wintery conditions with -0 temps and winds over 40 mph.The firetower was damaged,but we went in fo the veiws anyhow.It was partially cloudy,so only moments of glory could be witnessed from our vantage point.I did like it up there and would do this one again sometime.It had alot of the character of its bigger brothers and the climb also proved to be quite stout as well.....Jim,w |
