| Nicest day of the year so far. Usually I prefer views into wilderness, but this view overlooking upstate South Carolina was great anyway. Nice hike up the old CCC trail. | |

| I really enjoyed this climb. While parts some parts were strenuous, nothing was dangerous. The trail was well kept, the park beautiful, and the views along the way were gorgeous. | |

| It was pouring rain, cloudy, and slippery. We hear there are great views but we picked the wrong day to see them. The hike was still fun and standing on the massive rocks was rewarding. | |

| While the forecast called for heavy rain, a bunch of us decided to brave the weather anyway. We were surprised to find that while it was overcast, the skies never really decided to pour down on us until we began to descend. A lovely day, and an absolutely lovely trail. | |

| I had been meaning to climb this mountain for years and kept putting it off. It's a very impressive peak with a lot of exposed rock and some of the biggest cliffs in the East. It's a solid 2K foot gain from trailhed to summit, with some extremely rewarding views at the clifftops. There are also some waterfalls along the way, and a good old hardwood forest through which to hike. All in all, a really nice mountain to summit. | |
