| Due to poor weather climbed this peak. Walked up "Glacier walk" to Stubier Eisjoch. Then scrambled up to summit. Summited in blizzard. Good to use ice axe and crampons again. | |

| I was 11 years old when I summited Schaufelspitze. The first time I went over 3000m. All I can remember is the beautiful view on Zuckerhutl and the crowds on the summit. | ||

| Nice quick hike from the base after crossing a small glacier. Lots of friendly people on top since this is a 3000er just about anyone can do. Great views of the Stubai range if you want to recon a traverse of the range. So many inviting and seemingly touchable peaks in the area. Recommend this one as an objective for any non-climbers travelling with you (especially any fit senior citizens). | |
