It was a great hike. I made sure I signed in the LOG at the summit. Good Incline. The view was great from the peak. One side of the mountain was Colorado Springs and the others were all mountains. I felt I could see up to Denver if the sky was clear. The trail was slippery due to MOTOR Bikes and Bikes on the route.

Great hike up! I had the mountain all to myself. I was above the clouds that were covering Colorado Springs and had great views of Mt. Baldy, Mt. Almagre, Pikes and Cameron Cone. This is a great short climb that more than delivers bang for your buck with spectacular views. I love living in Colorado Springs!

Decided to climb Mt. Rosa and watch the sunset. Upon reaching the summit, though, I didn't like the look of the clouds several miles out, so I went straight down. Got rained on a little bit but no lightning in the vicinity.

This is a cool hike -- the views from the ridge and the summit are great. While driving home I thought to myself how lucky I am to live in Colorado Springs :-).

This is the perfect front range hike. I havn't been up any other mountain that offers such a breathtaking and varied 360 degree view. To the east are the plains. Northeast is Colorado Springs. N orth is Pikes Peak. Northwest is Almagre. The view to the west and south are the Sangre de Cristos in the distance, and southeast is Cheyenne Mountain. For a fairly moderate hike you can't get better than this. Don't forget to sign the log at the top.

Beautiful morning for a nice hike. Reached the top just before the thunderstorms did. Had time to browse around and take some pictures before having to rush back down. Didn't see anyone else on the trail.

OK, so I don't remember the exact date we climbed this peak, nor do I have any pictures of our climb. I do remember we climbed this one in the spring with a Pikes Peak CMC group. Our approach to the trailhead was as decribed on this Mount Rosa main page.
