| You can see all the La Garita centennials plus pretty much the entire rest of the San Juans from up there. Looks like I was the first person to summit in 8 or 9 months based upon the summit register. | |

| I did the traverse to Stewart Peak on this long solo hike. It was a great autumn day. On the way back over Baldy Alto (from Stewart Peak) I was able to bypass it's summit and save the effort of climbing this peak twice. | |
