| This was part of a 10-day backpacking trip. I climbed the NE Ridge from the head of Thompson Canyon, then ran the ridge over to Wells Peak. There were some enjoyable short Class III/IV sections along the upper part of the NE ridge before you reach the sandy eastern slope leading to the summit. It was an enjoyable climb. | |
