| This one was on the list, as well as the more aggressive looking Mt. Magog. Did a fine loop from Tony Grove up Naomi, across the ridge to Mt. Magog, then cross country back down lower to the trail and back to the t.h. Cool area up there, a ground squirrel kept trying to climb in my pack on the summit. | |

| Beautiful area. There were a lot of people at the trailhead, but I had the summit to myself. It was a perfect day to relax and lay in the sun on top. | |

| My 10 yr old son and I set of around 8:30 am. Spend a while going up enjoying the views and having breakfast along the trail. This is our first hike of our endevor to bag the highest in each county. Looking forward to the rest! | |

| This is my second time at the summit. My youngest son, Jeremy, accompanied me on the 1+21 jaunt to a rocky summit where the views are grand. Yes, it costs 3 bucks to park at the TH unless you stop about a mile short of the parking lot. | |

| Once was with Props the day he saw the sailplane go by. It was one of the coolest sights I've ever seen. This has been a favorite hike of mine whenever I'm in the area with time to do it. | |

| While this hike was beautiful, the most amazing thing I saw was on the drive up. Off the side of a the road a golden eagle was gorging itself on a dead deer carcass that looked very fresh. When I came within 10 yards it looked up and swooped off down the road. Breathtaking. | |
