| This was a nice easy hike to take in on a sunny warm April day. Feels really isolated out there on the north side of the Peaks. | |

| Did an easy hike on Slate Mtn with friends who weren't up for Humphrey or Kendrick. Really enjoyed the views and was glad to even see the Grand Canyon as it often lost in the clouds whenever I'm on Humphrey's Peak. Slate Mtn appears to be very popular with horny toads- I saw more on the trail in 2 hours than I have seen over the last decade in Arizona. | |
