| Totally underestimated how long of a hike/climb this one was. Started out a 5 in the morning and didn’t reach the summit until 10. I don’t know really what route I took but it was a small couloir that had me white knuckling the holds all the way up (that will teach me to go solo). I was sort of scared that I would have to descend this route on the way down. I didn’t realize that there was an easier route on the back side. I think that going down the mountain was the most enjoyable part, glissaded all the way down. I just let myself go on the last 200 ft cause it was all snow. |
