| Did a loop out of South Lake trailhead past Chocolate Lakes, Ruwau Lake, and Long Lake. I got to the top of Chocolate Peak with a quick cross-country hike from the saddle to its southeast. The top has excellent views for the effort required to get there. Trip report of my Chocolate Peak loop hike. | |

| This was a great hike for my father and me. We weren't too sure when to leave the trail to traverse up the backside of Chocolate, but told each other there's only one way but up! It was a great day.. | |

| Made this peak alot more interesting with class 3/4 on snowy choss. Lots of fun, this is a great little peak with outstanding views. I wouldn't know, it was snowing all the way up, and the summit ridge had about 100 yards of visibility! | |

| Climbed Chocolate after hitting Agassiz earlier in the day. The elevation of this peak gives a nice perspective of the Bishop Pass area. You get a great sense of the physical relief that is lost when climbing the higher peaks. I was utterly spent at the end of the day. I need more conditioning! | |
