| Mostly successful. Did not cross the summit ridge as it was covered in snow. | ||

| Just another nice day out, I liked the knife ridge and I even took a nap on the deck, midway down. | ||

| 3:15 car-to-car, including a trip to the true summit. Fun (albeit short) scrambling across the knife edge. | ||

| One of my first peaks in the Rockies. Climbed it before the Cougar creek development. Made it up to the tea house to be greated by a wedding reception. The bride, groom and guests had arrived via helicopter. After accepting some wine and cheese from the joyfull little crowd, we ambled up to the summit. Must say I was very impressed by the summit ridge. Beautiful! | ||

| The ridge was not as difficult as expected - the rock was excellent and solid. Lots of fun and over way too soon. | ||

| A nice outing to rid one of a hangover. In winter the trail was the most dangerous spot, bring crampons. | ||

| Climbed this with my sister Louisa and brother in-law Rico. Great and fun day out. The exposed summit ridge is a riot. Bit of a knee basher on the way down | ||

| I didn't like the steep hike up but enjoyed scrambling the ridge. Wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be for my first "difficult" scramble according to Alan Kane's guidebook. | ||

| A beautiful day for Lady MacDonald, even though we got started late in the afternoon (this also reduced the # of people on the mountain!). Five in total in our group, Debby, Bill, and I attempted the summit while Candace and Duarte waited at the tea hut (of which I think is a disgrace to the mountain). Debby and I traversed almost to the end of the ridge where we turned around due to inexperience, the lateness of the day, and the fact that people were waiting for us. The hike up was gorgeous with all the wildflowers and the variety of weather systems moving through the area! We saw one marmot that was nearly all white with the exception of his tail and a bit of the back part of his body. We got back to the car after 10pm and of course it was still light out=) I love Alberta summers! | ||

| The scramble is just a long hike until the final ridge to the true summit. They found a body in 2003 who had slipped off this section. Good local repeat for beginners. I have gone up the scramble route 3 times, 4300' +/-gain. The East Ridge is a Alpine 5.5 trad route. I have soloed this route, but it is bolted and most would want protection. I obviously recommend this route over the scramble. They parallel each other from about 7500' on and meet before the final narrow ridge to the true summit. The backside of the scramble route offers a very lush meadow that kind of surprises you. Mountain sheep are plentiful. There is a summit register. Last time up we spotted small cat (Lynx or Bobcat) tracks just west of the summit. | ||

| This was very pleasent cool day. Excellent conditions for this type of hike/scramble. Had the mountain mostly to myself due to weather. Saw goats, marmotts and hawks. Fine clouded view from the summit. | ||
