| A great introductory peak around Crested Butte that makes for an easy climb with presumably great views. Unfortunately on this day the views were hampered by a dense haze throughout the valley (due to the California wildfires). I descended a fairly steep couloir just South of the summit to the old mining road in Paradise Basin. Many of these lines down the Western bowl of the peak are descendable should weather be approaching. |
