I’ve wanted to climb Sinopah Mountain ever since my first trip to the Two Medicine area. It was clear in the morning but all of the forest fires made the air very smoky in the afternoon. Left the main trail near Rockwell Falls and climbed up the mountain. The scrambling in the couloir was the best part. The summit is located on a narrow ridgeline. A fun mountain climb.

Nice day and even nicer to not solo for a change. Went with a super strong gal. Nice day and went up one of the south chutes. Tricky 4th class and not good snow conditions.

Be sure and look for the mountain goats in the couloir. They are there laughing at you and how long it takes you to climb up the couloir. After we climbed back down I looked up to see 4-5 goats just running around on the ledges and rocks like it was flat ground. They mock you!

Very fun rock climbing. A beautiful name for a beautiful mountain. Don't miss this one if you get to Glacier.

Climbed with Aaron, Ellen, Fred, Moni, and what a terrific day--this is a fun mountain! Probably the best weather of the 8 days we were in GNP. The only blip on the horizon was that I forgot film for my camera, which since I'd used the last of a roll the previous afternoon meant no pictures on this climb. This achievement of no film for the camera is a lifetime first accomplishment. (Sigh...)

But it was still an absolutely wonderful day!

Grand mountain. Great climb led by awesome SP members Fred and Moni Spicker. My long time climbing partner Vernon Garner was along, as well as my sweetheart Ms. Ellen. This is a tremendous mountain with a stunning view and I highly recommend it to beginning Glacier Park climbers.

It was suggested on this climb that I create and maintain the Sinopah page, but I countered that Fred, Moni or Vern should have the mountain since they live nearby. It only makes sense. Well, Vern was charged with the page construction since the rest of us have plenty of pages already. I did volunteer to write up the route, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Be sure to take a boat ride coming or going! It's worth it!
