PeterCorneliusSpaethW-flank to SW-ridge  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jul 29, 2009

From Birnluecken hut. Very good conditions though rapidly worsening at the rocky bottleneck at around 2950m. There are belay / abseil slings now. Did not need rope and axe for ascent but used axe / crampons for descent.

boriskrielenRoute climbed: solo from Clare hütte  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jul 15, 1995

I started from the Clarahütte. Keeping left of the Umbal glacier. Then, right after the Schleitner Keesflecken, high up to the Althaus glacier. Between the rocks of the SW-ridge up to the W-wall. There was a big corniche. Through steep (up to 55 degrees) but firm snow to the summit. Great climb!
