| 5-7-2009 Started at the gate to the Hell Hole Basin road off of the road to Christmas meadows. Walked 4 miles on the road until it ended, put snowshoes on, and then climbed up to the north ridge. Followed the north ridge to the summit. Great weather and views. I couldn't imagine running into another person. 7-7-2007 Started just shy of mile marker 36 and hiked up to Klettings south ridge which I followed to Kletting and then I went over to A-1. | |

| Spectacular hike, not one person around. The vantage point this summit gives of surrounding Uinta Summits is superb. | |

| Climbed Kletting and A-1 with my wife and had total solitude on a major holiday. A thunderstorm passed over the summit while we were on our way back to Kletting; we didn't know if it was heading for us or for where we had just been, so we traversed across Kletting's face on the way back instead of going over the summit again. It was a beautiful day and a nice long and rugged hike. | |

| Late start from the TH to Hell Hole Lake and decided to climb the saddle between Kettling and A-1. Made it up to 11,800 and got turned around by the weather. Beautiful! Didn't see another human all day, spectacular views, moose everywhere. Having just moved to UT from CO, today's hike showed me there is terrain equal to CO in UT! I will be back to claim the summit! | |
