| First one at the trailhead at 6:15 AM. Only saw about a dozen people all day! Hiked to the false summit first, point 12392, followed by Mounts Chapin and Chiquita. Wonderful hike above treeline with awesome views. | |

| Hit this 'hill' on the way to Chaquita. Gray, overcast day. Cool to warm weather with no people traffic. Saw some ptargamin on the way down! Very easy mountain with nice views. | |

| 1st peak of the day as part of the Mummy Mania traverse. There was still quite a bit of snow over the trail, so we basically bushwacked to treeline following the path of least resistance. | |

| This was my first ever hike in Colorado. Having come from KS less than a week before, can you say: "NEED OXYGEN?!" Seriously, it kicked my butt from the get-go... my competitive drive kept me trekkin. We also summited Mount Chiquita and Ypsilon. The group started 20 strong, was 18 after Chapin, and was only 10 by the time we hit Ypilson. Yep, I wasn't the only one from SEA LEVEL in the crew! As I look back at this day, I laugh. I hiked in normal tennis shoes, and CARRIED (no pack) 2 nalgene bottles. Yep, I've come a LONG way baby! Enjoy it! | |

| Have climbed Chapin twice - once 3 years ago and just recently on Mummy Mania. I have climbed it from both directions now - and that is probably enough. The last time I climbed it - went from Chiquita over to Chapin - this time was the reverse. Last time we had to get AJ's canteen off the summit of Chiquita before we could continue the hike. | |

| Climbed with Chiquita in a bid for Ypsilon, turned back by threatening weather. This was my third hike with Ellen! Thoroughly enjoyed the mountain and the company. Left my canteen on top of Chiquita, so Ellen accompanied me back to that summit to get it. Really sweet. Nice area too! | |
