| Have skied off Flagstaff from various points on its east and north ridges into Days Fork, and have also skied Toledo. I'm livid at the prospect of Alta putting a ski lift here. | |

| Skinned up from Alta, skied down into Days, and then skinned up to the higher point of 10,651 ft at N 40.60493 W 111.64448. Basically reversed the route to get back to Alta. | |

| Rather disturbed by the thought of a ski lift to the top, Usually ski it a couple of times per season, I like to hike the Ridge from Flag to Prince of Wales Mine in Early July, the approach up Toledo and the Ridge has some of the best early Wildflowers. | |

| Very simple and easy hike from Alta, and the views were commanding in every direction. *Updated* Snowshoed again on Feb 20th, 2009. Traversed south along Reed and Benson Ridge to 10,561. (10,561 is a Salt Lake County Highpoint) Then down the west ridge to UN 10,360 just directly east of Cardiff Pass. It was a blast to get out in perfect weather! | |

| Climbed over Flagstaff to UN 10561 after lingering snow forced me to bail off my plans for Superior and Monte Cristo. The ridge was a great scramble although every hand and foothold needed to be tested due to loose rock. | |

| Climbed both Flagstaff and 10561 for the 20th time today. It was snowing and you couldn't see very far. But, the fresh snow made for a great glissade down. Who would have thought there'd be so much snow at the end of May! | |

| This peak (my 2nd time at the summit) was only part of a horseshoe ridge scramble from the bottom of south Superior ridge east and around over Devil's Castle, Sugarloaf and Mt. Baldy to the Snowbird tram. That, my friends, is one long hike! Take lots of water and be prepared for 12 hours minimum. | |

| Left Alta parking lot at 11am. Meant to climb Cardiff and up to Superior, but took a wrong turn so ended up on Flagstaff's south ridge. Summited Flagstaff at noon and then headed west along the ridge over point 10,277 down to Cardiff Pass. Almost made it to the pass, but chickened out at the last 20' drop down to the pass, so headed back up over point 10,277 and then dropped down the big bowl south of Flagstaff to the mine and back to Alta at 2 pm. Had a blast, even though my goal was Superior/Monte Cristo! | |

| Started the trail at the Alta guard station about 4:25 AM and headed up the south slope. About 70 minutes to the peak. I was with Justin A. (Gutloaf), and we continued on to the two higher points along the R & B ridge, then instead of going back down the south slope, wewent west on the ridge toward Superior, and then down from Cardiff Pass. 3 hours round trip, and back home in time to shower, eat, hug my babies, and get to work by 9. | |

| South Slopes: (August 28, 2005) - Short and Steep. Great views from the top. I continued traversing the ridge to Honeycomb Cliffs and hiked down Grizzly Gulch. West Ridge: (September 14, 2008) - Hiked from Cardiff Pass up the west ridge. Fun scrambling on this route. Then I continued to 10,561 and traversed Reed and Benson Ridge. I hiked down Cardiff Fork. Few people explore this ridge but I did see a few mountain goats. | |
