| So many Tops. I liked this one best because the bolders formation you climb up to get to the peak resemble an egyptian pyramid. | ||

| After Flattop and Ptarmigan Pt, I meant to climb Knobtop but missed it and ended up climbing Sprague Mtn. So I hit Knobtop on the way back to Flattop. | ||

| Hit Flattop, Ptarmigan Point, the unsummit-that's-higher-than-the-real-summit on Notchtop, and Knobtop one fine morning. As smudge says on the main page, "it makes for a nice day spent above the trees along a beautiful stretch of tundra along the divide!" | |

| Since the descent off the flats to access Notchtop was too corniced to provide anything safe, I went back and shoed to this summit. Nothing too spectacular. Continued all the way around and completed a huge loop of Bighorn Flats before climbing half-way up Hallet Peak. At this point, the snow was like regurgitated mashed taters, so I said "screw this" and headed back down. Any descent down Tyndall Glacier would have been roulette. | |
