| A long day hike. Started at Cosby, hiked Gabes Mountain Trail to Maddron Bald Trail to Snake Den Ridge to AT. From the AT I headed south then bushwacked to what I sincerely believe to be the actual summit of Inadu Knob. Descended via Snake Den Ridge. | |

| Good winter trip and saw the F-4 wreckage on the ridge. Great views and temperatures in the teens and twenties. | |

| I have not summited the Knob, only hiked around it on the AT and Snake Den Ridge trails. Look for the F-4 wreckage off the south side of the AT. It flew into the mountain in the early 80's. | |

| This was a very tough, but rewarding hike. Hit the trail very late (1pm) and made the 16.4 mile round trip in 5 & 1/2 hours. Lots to see, and I wish I'd had more time to enjoy it all. | |
