| Climbed this beast direct from Doughnut Lake up a chossy gully system when I was about 15, then continued over to Ida. The lighting on the wet class 3 Julian-Craktop ridge was spicy, and not recomended. Cheley Camps calls this traverse the "Circle Peaks", and it is a coveted hike for those motivated youngsters. A truly heady tour of seldom visted terrian. | |

| Total ascents = 2. After getting out to the summit of Terra Tomah we went back over Julian & Cracktop to the divide, then continued to Bear Lake via Sprague and Flattop. | |

| Terra Tomah was the fifth peak of the day. We went over Ida, Cheif Cheley, Cracktop, and Julian. I started feeling ill, (probably dehydrated) on the summit. It was a long struggle to make it back to Ida just after the sun set. With no moon we started off of Ida and then realized we were on the norht ridge, not the northwest ridge. With the way I was feeling and having to back track, we decided to find a place to curl up and wait out the darkness. We didn't get back to our vehicle which was parked at the Glacier Gorge overlook until the next morning. | |

| A long day to say the least. This is one of those days when you can't wait for it to be over but looking back you wish you could do it again. ERRR... maybe a few slight changes in the route next time. I will go back down into that Forest Canyon, it don't scare me. Hayden Gorge looks like a nice and rugged place. | |

| A spectacular mountain with great company. In spite of the pain this mountain will likely be one of my more treasured memories. I would think Terrah Tomah is the most exclusive mountain in one of the most exclusive regions of RMNP. Jon Bradford | |
