| mrchad9 | From Williamson Bowl ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 10, 2009 | |
| Great 4 day solo trip covering Will, Barnard, Trojan, and Tyndall. Camped in Williamson Bowl all three nights. On day 3 went over to Barnard and grabbed Trojan on the way back. View from the top is super- made up for the tedious slog around Helen of Troy. | ||

| wingding | Via George Creek ![]() Date Climbed: May 11, 2008 | |
| Climbed up with Harry from camp at 9400 feet and then he headed for Barnard and I went to Trojan - we both made our respective summits and returned to camp safely. It sure was a tough haul with heavy packs up to camp - bushwacking, loose crap, and many creek crossings, but after camp the climb was much nicer and the view was really nice from Trojan. | ||

| steve_hiebert | Trojan via North Slope ![]() Date Climbed: May 23, 1992 | |
| We climbed Mt. Williamson in the morning and Trojan Peak in the afternoon. Lots of snow if I remember correctly but great conditions for kicking steps up the slope. | ||

| bechtt | N Ridge (ascent)/NW slope (descent) ![]() Date Climbed: May 26, 2007 | |
| Missed doing Trojan when we climbed Barnard 3 weeks ago via George Creek. Approach for this trip was over Shepherd Pass and through the Williamson Bowl (ugh). Climbed to the notch from Helen of Troy Lake and then up some fun Class 3 cliffs about half way up the North Ridge. The climb then turned into typical Class 2 bouldering to the summit. Descended via the NW slope -- a miserable scree slope that would have been hell to ascend. Incredible weather -- snow is almost gone. | ||

| PellucidWombat | Route Climbed: North Couloir ![]() Date Climbed: May 6, 2006 | |
| I climbed this nice peak while on a day excursion up George Creek with Bob Burd, Rick Kent, and Michael Graup. I had intended on climbing the NE Couloir and descending the N Couloir, but the sound of snow slides in the NE couloir made me reconsider these plans and hike around to more stable snow.

| asmrz | From the saddle of Mt.Williamson Date Climbed: Feb 17, 1985 | |
| Miguel Carmona and I skied up and down George Creek to Mt.Williamson in February 1985 and on our day off climbed Trojan Peak from the saddle between it and Mt. Williamson. The ski descent from the summit of Mt.Williamson must be one of the greatest ski runs in California, about 10,000 feet drop. | ||

| pkclimber | Route Climbed: South Slope via Snow Date Climbed: May 7, 2006 ![]() Date Climbed: May 7, 2006 | |
| SPS trip led by Larry/Barbee and Patty. We were joined by Harry L., Susan L., Dave G., Darrick D. Hard bushwack up George Creek. Nice camp at 9,200' dry ground with snow all around. Started on snowshoes and then dropped them and switched to ice axe and crampons and then just boots to summit! So Fun! | ||

| Langenbacher | South Slope ![]() Date Climbed: May 7, 2006 | |
| With Larry, Barbee, Darrick, David, Patty and Susan from camp along George Creek. Met Michael and saw Mark approaching the peak as I ran off to join Patty, Susan, and David to climb Barnard. Beautiful day! Fine views of Williamson, and tons of snow to the west. I placed a register and container on the peak. See pictures at http://community.webshots.com/user/langenbacher | ||

| Matthew Holliman | Route Climbed: Endless sand slopes Date Climbed: Same as Bob ![]() | |
| The first sand slog of the 2004 climbing season. Nice views, but like most of the peaks in this area this year, no register. Dayhike with Bob and Michael. A misunderstanding of plans led me to pass up Barnard, which I regret now. That'll have to be a long dayhike some other time. | ||

| Everyone says you have to do the George Creek bushwhack at least once in your life. The use trail made it far easier than I was expecting, but it still took almost 15hrs RT to climb Barnard and Trojan from the TH. One of my more exhausting days for 2004. Next year I think we will go back for Carl Heller. Trip Report | ||
