| The final point of our ridge hike, there was nobody on the summit when we climbed it after a few long hours of ridge hiking from Saua Intre Izvoare where we slept. Great views towards Maramures range and Ukrainian Chornohora ridge seen well in the background. The depth of the views on Borsa situated 1,5 km below simply amazing. | |

| The whole peak was covered by clouds, yet there was just a little snow and temperature was above zero °C. Found a climbers' log on the top this time. | |

| Spectacular and wild place. In good weather I strongly recommend the main ridge route over the Rodnei Mountains (Borsa-Sant: ~50km). Please camp in designated areas and take your garbage down from the mountains :) | |

| Very nice mountains , in good weather great view from the summit on the Maramures mountains and Ukraina. Pietrosul is not on the main route ridge , so if you're crossing the mountains in the west-east direction you have to make about 3 hrs detour , but its mostly worth it. | |
