| Up Storm Pass, over Little Rainbow, up the West Ridge of Howe, then descended toward the pass between Twin Lakes and Storm Lake drainages and back to Storm Lake on that trail. Three hours and 45 minutes round trip. | |

| Up and over Little Rainbow from Storm Lake Pass. This is really some spectacular country. As much fun as any outing all year. This area is worthy of another trip. | |

| Climbed over Little Rainbow Mtn from Storm Lake and up the ridge. Very hot, windless day. Returned to Storm Lake by re-climbing Little Rainbow. This made things pretty exhausting. | ||

| This summit sure does have a good veiw and I've shared my P+J sandwich with a Pika up on the summit. My mom also called the Search and Rescue this last October when I climbed the peak and a snow storm hit and when I made it back to the Trailhead my Bronco was snowed in. I hiked the 6.8 miles to the highway before they made it up to me. Been up Mt Howe 7 or 8 times, all solo. | |
