| Beautiful day on a beautiful mountain. Johnstone is one of the outstanding vantage points in and of the Pioneers. Snowcovered summit with a huge cornice after coming up through a softening snow bowl below the summit. | |

| I walked up from Parker Gulch and flushed one Grouse from the first ridge in the trees. I thought this was a better view of the Pioneer's than from Pioneer cabin! I'll have to ski it in Winter. | ||

| Nice peak with excellent views. Its one of only a couple peaks in the Pioneers that you can do in winter on a single day outing. Here’s a trip-report and some photos. It was a great day! | |

| This peak has to offer some of the best views anywhere- it feels like you could reach out and touch all the high Pioneers. From the summit, you can even see Ketchum. | |

| We were able to get to the starting point with 4 wheel drive. The last mile was not plowed, but had some previous vehicle traffic since the last snow. We broke trail with snowshoes all the way to the summit which took us about 4 hours. We flew down in 1:45 after enjoying the view from the summit. Hiked with Jeromeclimber, and bigdan. Great day! | |
