| From Blaurock Pass I passed to the right of a prominent butress but stayed close to it as I climbed, rather than enter a gully, so that I could scramble on firmer rock. Soon I passed behind the buttress, crossed the top of the gully, and crossed the remaining plateau area to the summit. The ascent from the pass took 37 minutes. Earlier I had climbed from my tentsite at 10,500 ft near the Glacier Trail to Blaurock Pass and the made the side trip to Sunbeam Pk and back. | |
