| I was too optimistic and tried to drive too far with my car. Long before Unterstaller Alm we got stuck in the snow and had lost many time with useless snow chains. Two Bavarians overtook us and did a track in the snow, otherwise it would have been too hard for us to reach the summit. The downhill was okay in the upper parts but snow was too soft in the lower parts, so wet avalanches came from all sides, that was scary and we had lost too much time. So we were happy to reach the car back alive. But then we still had to walk down to the first farm and ask the farmer for help with his tractor... |
