| This was actually a fairly pretty area as you drive way up from Roosevelt Lake into the forests and then on to Aztec. Reasonably cool as well on the windy summit in the evening. | |

| Didn't see a soul all day, would love to head back up in the summer - looks to be a great escape from the heat. Workman Falls are worth spending a few minutes. | |

| The road by workman falls and then to the top was OK for the Honda, so I only had to hike a few feet to the lookout tower. Tower chasers can also tackle McFadden Peak, which is about 7 miles NW of Aztec. | |
