| Departed late from home, so after a 2h drive we started to walk only at 13:30 p.m. At 15:00 we were on top, then decided it could still be time for a visit of Snezna jama (Snow Cave). The last visit started at 17:00, but before the previous group exited the cave it was 17:20 and our visit was at the end point of the cave (where you receive schnaps) at 18:40. With a few foreigners (Austrians) we rushed out (the guide was only one and had a lot to do with a quite big group). Having 2 lamps we succeeded to be out at 19:10. Now to come on the other side of the mountain, over a 1910m high notch! We went on Koca na Loki, from there very fast 325m uphills on the notch (from Koca na Loki a dog accompanied us - uninvited) and immediately down. Even over the rocky step with steel cables and pegs the dog followed us. Then we ran down by a quite fine scree slope and from Grohat to Bukovnik used the road, as it was already dark. We did the section from the cave in 2h. Nice ascent and a very nice cave! And the stupid dog - Bukovnik farmer closed it and called the guy on the pasture on the other side of the mountain. |
