| Did the traverse from the Lipsett col and then down the northwest ridge. Pretty easy scramble, 3:10 to the summit, 2300' to the start of the climbing, about 1000' of scrambling. The register was buried in snow, could not find it. There is no false summit from the Lipsett col side as mentioned in other beta. It was confused with the north ridge I believe. I also do not think the Lipsett col ascent is any more difficult than the north ridge. Saw fresh "large" bear tracks going in and a golden eagle flew off the ridge in front of me at 10,000'. |
