| Fun snowshoe climb with great weather. Here’s a trip-report and some photos. The surrounding terrain is pretty mellow for the most part, but you still need to be aware of avalanche risk. There was a fatal one nearby only a few weeks after our climb. | |

| pretty quick trip. I was able to drive to the Gladiator pass trailhead through only a couple of inches of snow. I didnt bother to bring snowshoes on the hike although some areas above 9000ft had a couple of feet of snow. The ridge was blown pretty much free of snow. Some worthwhile views from the summit, particulary the East Fork of the Salmon River. | |

| Took Gladiator Pass trail to the saddle and then climbed up the ridge to the top. Great views from the top, better than I thought. Hiked in t-shirt and shorts! | |
