| This is an interesting mountain to climb. The approach is long and steep and you do not get a view of the summit for almost the entire climb. The views, especially once you reach West Pass, are stunning. You see steep faces (Kent), sweeping views (West Pass), distant peaks (Glassford) in virtually every direction you look. The drawback to any climb in the Boulders is, of course, the looseness of the rock. Scrambling on this scree is unpleasant. Descending, on the other hand, can be a blast. |
