| I used to work at the East Fork Bear River Scout Camp near the Priord Lake Trailhead. Since the scouts were there during the week, I, or if I was lucky, a parter too, would hitch a ride to the Highline Trail, and since it was on the way back to Salt Lake City, it was easy to catch a ride. Myself or partners would then hike over Rocky Sea Pass, often camping at Lightning Lake, over Priord/Ostler Pass, down to Priord Lake and back to the trailhead climbing some of the peaks along the way. Most of the time when peaks were summitted, I did the trips alone. All trips were two days, but I was in really good shape back then. |
