
| Lots of crumbly flow-banded rhyolite rock near tight notch -- if you try anything different (i.e. not cleaned by previous climbers), watch out; entire sheets of rock may exfoliate.
Climbed with BW, NN, Dr Ed, and the Siberian. Took us perhaps 2 hrs plus change to do this peak, on peak top by ~8:30AM. It was just a mild day (mid 70's), but the sun was bright, and it felt warm and dry as there is virtually no shade. By the time we were down Umpah and out the southern wash (for variety), we were all a little thirsty. In other words, if you climb this in warmer weather, watch out.
