| On Veteran's Day, my wife and I hiked to The Pinnacle from Jewel Hollow Overlook. It was about 70 degrees. We saw that even 1,000 feet in elevation made a big difference in the foliage. There were still leaves on the trees on Oventop Mountain (less than 2,500 feet), but the trees on The Pinnacle were bare. | |
