| Climbed East ridge from Saline Valley road, cross country all the way. The ridge is quite steep, but not technical, with easily climbed outcroppings of Granite to make the route interesting. Very nice bristlecones abound once you pass the 9,500 foot level. | |

| Up from the east side- drove about 1/2 mile down the 4x4 road the night before before getting tired of the brush. Made the top mid-morning with great views all around. | |

| With Bob, climbed Waucoba and Squaw from the east before driving back to the Bay Area. This hadn't seemed like a particularly interesting plan when we conceived it (mostly as a way just of ticking off a DPS peak), but it turned out to be pleasant half day after all. | |
