This was our last ski day in the Chicago Basin and our last objective, we climbed up and skied the Southwest Slopes. Perfect last ski run and we went all the way down that day to catch the train in the morning.

Solo climbed this in the morning before packing out for the train. It was a wet/foggy morning but the sun came out at 9am when I was back at camp, go figure!

This is a quick climb from upper Chicago Basin from the Columbine Pass trail and up the s.w. slopes. Incredible views of the nearby 14ers, with a fun finish.

Attepted to climb Wyndam by going over Jupiter and along that nasty spine, but were turned around at the summit of Jupiter due to weather. We came from the north side from Columbine basin and followed the ridge all the way to the summit. Quite fun, although the rock is quite bad and required extra concentration coming down.

Cool Summit ridge - a pleasant surprise and fun! Climbed this after Sunlight, Windom and Eolus. Steep tundra for my tired legs.

This was my first Colorado summit. I didn't even know what mountain I was climbing. Nasty lightning storm on the summit with sparks and crackling rocks.
