| 24th October 2004: The most memorable of a few Javorovy summit attempts. Some fight on icy rocks in the Sivy Couloir, definetely too risky without any winter equipment. Nervous evacuation from the exposed rocky rib over sloping snowy grassfields ,15 minutes from the summit ridge. No doubt ...I'll meet again with Javorovy upcoming summer season,hopefully this time with final success. On the 5th September 2004 I ascended Maly Javorovy Peak summit(2385). ------------edit: 7.09.2005------------- Javorovy finally taken !!! 2nd September 2005 : Javorovy reached in an excellent weather conditions ...absolutely ...breathtaking panorama from the summit, ascent first to Javorova Pass from the north by a narrow ledge over vertical 150-200 m high vertical cliffs, descent by the same way (descent from the summit to the pass along the ridge). Great peak. | |
