fowweezerNice hike  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Oct 10, 2009

Hiked this on day 2 of a 3-day trip to Zion with a friend from the East Coast. Angel's Landing on Day 1 (3rd or 4th time for me), Observation Point on Day 2, and a one-day thru-hike of the Virgin River Narrows on day 3. It was all really good, but this might have been the best, honestly.

Nice hike in the heat but luckily the first part was in the shade in the morning. Great view!

I've approached Observation Point from both the bottom and the top. Better than Observation Point, though, is nearby Observation BM. Truly classic views of both north and south Zion Canyon.

This is my favorite view of the Zion valley. And even in snow conditions the trail is great and totally worth the effort.

Passed an 84 year old woman who went to the top as well. It must have been 90 degrees out. Impressive.

I forget the exact date. Mountain lion tracks on the rim made it exciting.
